If you like one of a leaderboard wallet’s positions, you can open the same one with your own wallet. Nothing is copied automatically, and none of your funds are touched.
Copy a single position
On a wallet page, under Positions, the menu at the end of any of their open positions has Open this with my wallet, and the position page has the same button. Every quote re-checks that the wallet is still on this week’s leaderboard, that their position is still open, and that its on-chain owner and pool match.
It opens the same dialog as an opportunity card: the pool is theirs, the range is prefilled with theirs (converted to percentages from the current price; if their range sits entirely on one side of the price it becomes single-sided), and you enter the amount; all of it can be changed. The server builds the transaction from the on-chain state and simulates it, and your wallet signs. See One-click actions and signing.
When the price is above or below their range, the dialog warns you: their position isn’t earning fees right now, and a copy would hold only one token until the price comes back.
The position you open is tagged Copied from … in your positions table and is then alerted on by the wallet-position rules; see Alerts and To do.
Cost
Opening with your wallet carries no Alokumi fee; if we need to swap tokens for you, we charge 0.2% of that swap. See Fees.
